What's A JAM Session?

Our group began with a small group of artists that wanted to create new art opportunities in Jeffersonville. We wanted to create a Jeffersonville Art Movement!

A JAM Session is a FREE event where community members of all ages are invited to join with professional artists and art educators to create a piece of public art that will be on display on our community. Our Alliance members prepare materials in advance so that you, and other community members, can come together for a Saturday morning of art making!

Most artworks created at our JAM Sessions are temporary public artworks designed to be on display for one season or just a few years.

The Jeffersonville Arts Alliance hosts several JAM Sessions each academic year. Each event is free to attend and open to all ages.
